Latest News

We're very happy to announce this year's official Tone Deaf Touring SXSW showcase to be held on Saturday March 20th at Encore (611 Red River) in Austin TX. The festivities will start at 7pm and the line-up this year features a tasty, crushingly-heavy mix from our roster and is as follows: Weedeater (Southern Lord), Black Cobra (Southern Lord), Rwake (Relapse), Black Tusk (Relapse), ASG (Volcom), and US Christmas (Neurot). Get there early and enjoy the show; we'll see you there!

More uber-heavy news; Black Cobra joins the highly anticipated High on Fire tour this March - May! Still touring hard on their latest release on Southern Lord, "Chronomega", the duo of devastation is beyond stoked to be sharing the stage with Matt Pike and co. for an extended period of time. After this run ends in May Jason and Rafa will then prepare for a month of European shows / fests with Weedeater and Saviours, starting with the always insane Hellfest in Clisson, France alongside such mega-rockers as Kiss and Twisted Sister, as well as their old friends in Rwake.

Immediately after returning from a successful headlining tour of Europe, heavy psychers Nebula head out this March - April on a tour which will include a stop at SXSW. The trio will then head east and up the coast for leg one of the jaunt, with support provided by Quest for Fire (Tee Pee). The fine folks at Tee Pee records will also be releasing a Nebula / QFF split on March 23rd to coincide with the tour. Leg 2 starts in Chicago, where support will change over to The Willowz (Downtown / Dim Mak) and Lionize (Indication) for the remainder of the tour until it's completion in LA on April 15th.

Still in the wake of Dixie Dave's horrible (yet somehow predictable) shotgun accident, Weedeater embarks on the already infamous "Nine Toe" tour this March - April. They will be showcasing new material fron their forthcoming release on Southern Lord, "Jason...The Dragon", tentatively scheduled for a September release. Support will be provided by a plethora of killer bands on various portions of the tour including: Black Cobra (Southern Lord), Black Tusk (Relapse), ASG (Volcom), The Gates of Slumber (Metal Blade), US Christmas (Neurot), and Struck by Lightning (Translation Loss). You can see a small piece on (not of) Dave's toe in the new issue of Revolver, "The Top 5 Worst - And Best - Things About Blowing Off Your Own Big Toe". Enlightening.

In other news...Radio Moscow will do a headlining tour of the US this April - May with support provided by Naam (Tee Pee). This follows their return from a very successful headlining run of Europe, where they grew tired of Slovakian women throwing their undergarments and unmentionables at the band. Black Tusk will be playing Scion Fest and SXSW this month before heading out in support of Weedeater through April. ASG will also join Weedeater up until SXSW then play Bro Fest before doing a short headlining tour of the southern states. US Christmas will support Weedeater up SXSW, then after Bro Fest they will do some shows supporting Black Cobra before playing the MaCRoCk fest in Virginia. The legendary Slough Feg (with support from Chicago's Bible of the Devil) will also tour the Midwest and west coast on the "Parched in the Western World" tour this April. We're also very happy to welcome Atlanta's Zoroaster (E1 Music) to our roster; stay tuned for more updates!
